At Cooperativa Agraria Amoju we are a great family uniting efforts and
will to improve the quality of life of our members, their families and communities.
First community farmers meeting with the intention of creating a cooperative wich allows them to sell their coffee in larger quantities and at better prices.
In December, the idea was formalized and registration was given under the name of Cooperativa Agraria y Servicios Multiples Cafe Amoju.
The cooperative began with 285 associated producers who received constant training and technical assistance in order to work on a quality process for coffee.
This year the market search for our product began, managing to start the coffee commercialization in the local market.
With 285 associated coffee farmers, this year meant the insertion of our product into the international market, being able to carry out our first export to Belgium.
Our first customers, trusted in our quality product and to date we have been working together within a great business relationship.
Little by little, new producers were associated, reaching 410 associates between men and women, who are constantly provided with technical assistance in their nurseries as well as in their final field plots.
This allows us to help improve the quality of life of our male and female coffee growers associated with our cooperative.
To this date, there are already 535 coffee producers associated with the cooperative, 60% being men and 40% women farmers.
Our coffee stands out due to the altitude and its cup quality, collected from the coffee-growing regions of Peru and then going to conquer the European and American markets.
Currently we continue working with the same conviction and mission from the beginning, we intend to bring the best of Peruvian coffee to international markets.
Each export and each new market means a new opportunity for growth and development for their families and community.
We are committed to giving our farmers better opportunities, through technical assistance and visits to their farms encouraging them to continue working.
Before, I traded another product, but I decided to work with the cooperative because they provided us with coffee seeds, technical assistance, and materials and supplies; It was a great help because when we harvested our economy improved.

Thanks to the technical assistants, we have a new farm management system, which increases production, and in the recently installed plots, production will multiply due to the management that is being provided.
